The Rio Grande plant is one of Yara Brasil’s largest facilities, and the Maintenance area is responsible for managing factory assets, implementing expansion projects, and acquiring and improving equipment. **Position Description \| Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- * Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and be accountable for the safety of all direct and indirect employees, third parties, and service providers; * Safeguard operational safety by monitoring correct use of PPE, equipment, and tools employed by the team; request maintenance when necessary; train the team; and participate in personnel movement processes (hiring, transfers, promotions, and dismissals) per HR policy; * Maintain order, cleanliness, and discipline in the area to ensure optimal performance and contribution to company results according to performance indicators; * Guarantee maintenance planning and monitor planned vs. actual execution daily, along with immediate corrective actions for deviations; * Critically analyze maintenance area performance and indicators (electromechanical availability of units, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance costs); * Ensure cleanliness and organization of areas per the 5S program, respecting established standards across all maintenance areas; * Be accountable for deviations related to maintenance costs and propose and implement improvements and adjustments; * Prepare reports and demonstrative dashboards on area performance and update technical equipment documentation for control and audits; * Participate in cross-functional meetings discussing results, action plans, resource needs and support, technical assistance, and new projects; * Develop maintenance scheduling for machines and equipment (shutdowns), aiming for effective response with minimal disruption to the production process.
