Be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities related to plant operations, including production planning, maintenance, bagging and blending, EHS, quality control, logistics, and inventory management. Interact with other departments (Finance, HR, Logistics, Supply, etc.) to ensure operational transactions occur as planned. Be responsible for identifying purchasing needs, obtaining quotes, and negotiating with third-party suppliers to contract services and acquire spare parts and machinery within your autonomy limit. Be responsible for identifying improvement projects and managing their progress to maximize facility performance. Be responsible for representing the company before local public agencies (municipal government, fire department, ministries of agriculture, labor, environment, etc.). Key Responsibilities:* Coordinate day-to-day activities at the unit, including production planning, maintenance schedule, blending and bagging operations, truck loading and unloading, inventory levels and turnover, to ensure production targets are met * Ensure that unit processes and procedures comply with EHS standards. Commitment to achieving EHS goals at the unit * Interact with corporate support areas such as EHS, Quality Control, Logistics, Supply, HR, Finance, etc., to ensure all local operations are aligned to achieve business goals. * Be responsible for personnel management (hiring, training, dismissals) and determining daily work shifts. * Act as a leader in driving improvements and managing their execution to maximize facility performance; * Manage the unit's budget.
