Food safety and good handling practices Hospital seeking a Kitchen Assistant in Rio Grande (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Assist in food pre\-preparation and preparation according to the hospital menu. Clean, cut, and portion food items. Assemble and organize meal trays according to prescribed diets. Assist in meal distribution. Perform cleaning and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment. Monitor food expiration dates and ensure proper storage. Comply with health surveillance regulations and good handling practices. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Support Staff, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the tasks associated with this position. High school diploma required.
