**Yard Assistant** We are seeking a Yard Assistant to work in RIO GRANDE. **MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Identifies and plans container allocation within the yard; * Controls container movement — receipt and delivery; * Ensures container delivery meets required standards (analysis of type, size, weight, cargo, and exporter) by performing visual inspection and light testing prior to loading; * Sets temperature, humidity, and ventilation for reefer units according to customer requests (Tec Reefer); * Ensures proper positioning of containers in workshops, wash bays, Redex, etc. * Instructs forklift operators on required movements; * Accompanies third-party inspectors (sugar, coffee, tobacco, cellulose, rice); * Monitors coupling and uncoupling of G7 (diesel-powered generators). **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Completed high school education; * Knowledge of: Yard rules and procedures; Container handling and stacking procedures; NR 1 — Occupational Safety Integration; NR 6 — Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
