**JOB OPENING — PURCHASING ANALYST** **About the position** We are seeking a Strategic Purchaser with an analytical, negotiation-oriented, and organized profile, responsible for managing procurement processes for raw materials, inputs, and services, directly impacting company costs and operational efficiency. This role entails both strategic and operational responsibilities, involving direct interaction with internal leaders and technical departments, supporting the company in cost optimization, supplier development, and supply assurance. **Key responsibilities** \- Procure inputs, raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials, with focus on the food industry. \- Conduct national negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms (price, delivery time, volume, quality, and supply stability). \- Prospect, approve, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers according to technical, commercial, and regulatory criteria. \- Receive procurement requests via system and align directly with requesters and internal leaders to ensure proper understanding of requirements, scope, and deadlines. \- Issue, track, and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and technical specifications. \- Monitor market fluctuations, costs, and availability of critical inputs, proactively identifying risks and opportunities. \- Strategically support material replenishment planning in alignment with production, logistics, and PCP (Production Control Planning). \- Manage supply and service contracts, including renewals, renegotiations, and revisions of commercial terms. \- Handle procurement and negotiation of outsourced services, including preventive and corrective maintenance. \- Evaluate supplier performance using cost, delivery, quality, and service-level indicators. \- Prepare management reports and cost analyses, including tracking generated savings. * **Requirements** Proven experience in strategic procurement, negotiation, and supplier management. Experience sourcing inputs, raw materials, or services with significant cost impact. Strong analytical capability for interpreting costs, contracts, and market scenarios. Proficiency in national procurement and negotiation processes, with an integrated view of the supply chain. Experience in outsourcing service procurement and industrial maintenance. Advanced Excel proficiency. Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in fields related to procurement and supply chain management. Ability to take a strategic and objective stance during negotiations. * **Preferred qualifications** Knowledge of sanitary and regulatory standards (ANVISA, MAPA, BPF, etc.). Experience with ERP systems and procurement KPIs (e.g., savings, lead time, supplier SLA).
