Job Summary: Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, following protocols and regulations, scanning merchandise, and processing payments, as well as managing daily closing and financial reporting. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals; executing daily closing procedures; and preparing financial reports at the end of each shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout counter by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting product code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system consistency; processing payments; verifying prior authorization for checks and making appropriate notations on the back; and authenticating cash payments; Ensure timely cash withdrawals during shifts and proper daily closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly informing supervisors for corrective action; Contribute to reducing losses at the checkout area through preventive actions such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with home delivery order preparation when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, including shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** Preceiro Atacadista \- Neighborhood: Nações 399 \- BR470 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Shopping Benefits (in-store purchases) Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
