Job Summary: We are seeking a Steel Structure Designer for detailing, drawing, structural calculation, and industrial planning, ensuring compliance with technical standards. Key Highlights: 1. Structural Detailing and Drawing of Steel Structures using AutoCAD and BIM 2. Structural Calculation and Sizing in accordance with technical standards 3. Industrial Perspective for Manufacturing Planning without Rework **WE ARE SEEKING A STEEL STRUCTURE DESIGNER** **Main Activities and Responsibilities** * **Detailing and Drawing:** Preparation of fabrication drawings (sketches), assembly diagrams, and material lists using software such as AutoCAD and BIM. * **Structural Calculation:** Sizing of profiles, welds, and connections, ensuring compliance with technical standards such as ABNT NBR 8800\. * **Industrial Perspective:** Planning the structure considering the manufacturing process (cutting, bending, welding) to avoid rework, understanding how the design performs in the factory.**Education and Competencies** * **Professional Profile:** Typically Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, or Technicians in Building Construction/Steel Structures. * **Skills:** Strong knowledge of technical standards, technical detailing, drawing interpretation, and software. * **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with safety standards (NBR) and understanding of field assembly.
