Problem solving and supplier monitoring Position: Operational Assistant – Civil Construction Job Description: We are looking for an Operational Assistant to join our team! This professional will be responsible for supporting the construction company’s operational activities, including monitoring suppliers, assisting with material procurement, and ensuring daily operational demands are executed efficiently and promptly. If you are proactive, enjoy problem solving, and have experience in the civil construction sector, this position is for you! Main Responsibilities * Monitor suppliers at construction sites and during customer service; * Assist with purchasing and quotation of construction materials; * Source materials from suppliers and ensure timely deliveries to construction sites; * Visit suppliers and partners to monitor orders and conduct negotiations; * Support the construction company’s team with operational and administrative tasks; * Monitor delivery deadlines and quality of contracted services; * Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Requirements * Prior experience in civil construction or with construction materials; * Problem-solving mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills; * Organizational skills, sense of urgency, and accountability; * Driver’s license category B; * Availability to travel between construction sites and suppliers; * Preference for candidates residing in Camboriú or nearby areas. Advantages * Experience in inventory control or material receiving; * Basic knowledge of management tools (spreadsheets, construction site management apps).
