




RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide direct customer service at the butcher counter, performing cutting, grinding, and weighing tasks to serve customers effectively. Receive goods, organize sector stock in cold storage, handle food products, prepare seasoned items and self-service trays, restock shelves, monitor product expiration dates, verify pricing, clean and organize the section, and provide customer service/sales support. Assemble butcher counters and frozen-food islands with various cuts of meat according to pre-established quality standards to facilitate sales. Assist in separating products within the section, placing them into appropriate containers—such as ground meat, chicken cuts, sliced steaks, ribs, and roasted meats—then weigh, price, and display them for sale. Update prices on the butcher’s pricing chart as instructed. Keep meat pieces inside cold storage areas organized to create space for newly arriving items. Maintain order and hygiene in the workplace—including cleaning counters, cold storage units, etc.—to prevent accidents and the proliferation of insects, bacteria, etc., ensuring compliance with required quality standards.
