Specialized Production Technician – Poços de Caldas – MG Responsibilities: * Attend daily safety and production meetings held prior to commencement of operational routines and maintenance activities, assessing risk conditions and guiding efforts toward improved performance. * Execute established technical and operational procedures for can manufacturing, fulfilling tasks outlined in Operational Norms (NOPs) and Technical Standards (PTs). * Train and guide Production Technicians I, II, and III. * Monitor equipment operation throughout the production process, operating controls, performing adjustments, and conducting periodic checks on operational results to ensure higher equipment efficiency and productivity. * Inform supervisors promptly about possible anomalies in the production process via meetings or other communication channels, enabling corrective and preventive actions; assist Multi-skilled Technicians in organizing conversion activities and execute them as scheduled. * Evaluate, diagnose, and report equipment and safety anomalies using specific forms. * Identify root causes of problems by technically analyzing their effects. * Report and hand over incidents and actions taken during one’s shift to the next shift, ensuring standardization and continuity of work. * Analyze trends of process variables through graphical analysis and predefined process limits, implementing necessary interventions to maintain system control. * Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), complying with procedures described in applicable standards. * Strictly adhere to operational procedures and occupational safety requirements. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. * Comply with procedures of Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management Systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices. * Collaborate with senior technicians in preparing departmental reports. * Participate, under Human Resources guidance, in training courses aimed at functional development and simplification to enhance task effectiveness. * Conduct, under supervision, training sessions for Technicians I, II, III, and entry-level personnel within one’s area of responsibility. * Cupper: Die set changes, conversions, routine checks of Production Technicians’ activities on the machine, press efficiency monitoring, quality inspection of produced cups, and verification of process parameters. * Bodymaker: Preventive and corrective maintenance activities, leveling and alignment tasks, quality checks on produced cans, verification of process parameters, review of Production Technicians’ routines, checks for hydraulic and soluble oil leaks. * Printer: Lubrication routine checks for printers and ink units, inspection of OV varnish hoses, roller temperature checks for ink units, assessment and lubrication status of pin chain, visual quality inspection of decorated cans, coordination and execution of label changes, review of Production Technicians’ routines, inspection of OV and Rim coat application quality, leak checks and process parameter verification, execution of conversions and scheduled maintenance. * LSM/Necker: Inspection of LSM and exit guide cleanliness, verification of varnish application parameters, belt speed and IBO temperature checks, monitoring of LSM and Necker Production Technicians’ routines, inspection of internal can varnish application, production test verification, rejection stratification in Camera and Light Testing at Necker, geometric parameter verification of cans generated by Necker, leak detection, and corrective and preventive maintenance on LSMs and Necker, execution of line conversions and scheduled maintenance. * Palletizer: Verification of pallet formation consumables (pallets/top frames/separating sheets), peripheral inspections (shafts, bearings, conveyors), machine lubrication verification, strapping machine checks, monitoring of Production Technicians’ routines, execution of conversions and scheduled maintenance. Requirements: * Completed Technical Course in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Production, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Industrial Automation, or Environmental Science. * Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred. * English proficiency preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Willingness to work on-site in Poços de Caldas – MG.
