Washer Technician – Poços de Caldas, MG Responsibilities: * Understand and comply with company policies regarding environmental preservation, occupational health and safety standards, product quality, food safety quality (FSSC 22000), code of ethics, compliance, human resources, mission, philosophy, vision, and corporate values, aligning conduct with established strategies and objectives. * Perform operational tasks related to deionized water and potable water systems, adjusting processes in accordance with established procedures. * Initiate corrective and preventive maintenance work orders. * Interpret analytical results and implement corrective actions based on data and facts. * Operate washer equipment to meet process specifications and perform calibration of analytical equipment used in the washer process, following pre-established procedural specifications. * Act as an operator within the assigned area to ensure optimal performance of activities, provide support to production lines and EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), and comply with parameters stipulated by local environmental legislation. * Execute checklists for preventive and corrective maintenance within the assigned area; comply with and enforce all safety practices; and carry out tasks professionally and responsibly while maintaining required quality standards per specified requirements. * Optimize available resources rationally to avoid waste and reduce costs. * Maintain an organized workstation, complying with 5S and housekeeping requirements, as well as other organizational tasks assigned within the area of responsibility. * Report structured abnormal and routine situations occurring during the shift to the immediate supervisor. * Execute analysis checklists for necessary corrections and data entry into Wiera, and operational checklists to ensure proper functioning of washer equipment. * Complete visual checklists to verify can quality at washer exit and perform chemical and mechanical cleaning of washer tanks. * Conduct backwashing of the carbon filter, chemical product transfers, and regeneration of the saturated unit when required for the deionized water system. Requirements: * Technical degree in Chemistry and completed high school education. * Preferred: 3 years of experience in the field. * Preferred: English language proficiency. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Availability for on-site work in Poços de Caldas, MG.
