Inventory control to reduce losses and optimize operations #### **About the position:** Overseeing receiving, storage, display, inventory control, and customer service is the mission of our FLV (Fruits, Vegetables, and Legumes) team. In the FLV department, freshness takes priority and must be emphasized to make everything more attractive and visually appealing. We welcome your application! #### **Main responsibilities:** * Daily guidance, supervision, and/or execution of product distribution and arrangement in the FLV section; * Remain vigilant regarding stock shortages or insufficient quantities of displayed products on shelves or improper display, promptly notifying the team for correction or restocking; * Monitor correct label placement specifying product identification and pricing, requesting corrections when necessary; * Oversee preparation and vacuum packaging of products for sale; * Guide and assist the team in restocking and product turnover in the sales area; * Monitor product “breakages” (defective items, items unfit for consumption, poor presentation, etc.); * Control inventory to minimize losses, including bruised or compromised-quality products; * Perform preventive maintenance on equipment used in the department; * Serve customers according to the company’s required service standards; * Comply with operational procedures required for the position; * Ensure regular attendance and punctuality; * Demonstrate leadership capability and team spirit; * Show initiative in performing assigned tasks. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Proven experience in the FLV sector or in similar positions; * Knowledge of inventory control and product display; * Leadership and teamwork skills; * Focus on product quality and freshness; * Strong communication and customer service skills; * Organizational ability and proactivity; * Regular attendance and punctuality. #### **Desirable qualifications (advantageous):** * Prior experience as an FLV supervisor; * Knowledge of preventive maintenance for departmental equipment; * Training in storage and preservation techniques for fruits, vegetables, and legumes; * Course or training in customer service; * Experience in food retail environments. #### **Benefits:** #### **Work schedule and working hours:
