Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the operation of grain cleaning and drying machines, performing maintenance and cleaning to optimize the process. Key Highlights: 1. Warehouse cleaning and organization **Job Description:** ---------------------- Responsible for assisting in the operation of grain cleaning and drying machines at the Unit. This includes activities such as grain fumigation and loading, feeding wood into furnaces, cleaning furnaces, pits, and tunnels, aiming to optimize grain drying and storage. Performing grain fumigation using approved products and tarps, with proper authorization, training, and safety equipment, ensuring deposited grains maintain good quality. Checking grain moisture content using a moisture meter to ensure dried products retain quality. Conducting physical inventory counts based on stock cards, counting physical quantities and verifying against reports. Performing machine adjustments, product sizing, and necessary calibrations to keep equipment operational and avoid production stoppages. Monitoring grain mass temperature to maintain stored product quality. Adjusting air intake in furnaces and dryers, regulating dryer air pressures to ensure optimal equipment performance per current regulations. Performing general cleaning of dryers, furnaces, pits, hoppers, silos, and machines to sustain the production process. Performing general equipment handling tasks, grain drying, loading and unloading of agricultural products and supplies, manually or with forklift assistance, to support daily operations.
