Collaboration with the team to enhance productivity and quality Supermarket seeking a Bakery Assistant in Colombo (Atuba). **Responsibilities:** Assist in preparing bakery products such as bread, cakes, savory snacks, and other menu items. Clean and organize workbenches, utensils, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and food safety. Sort, store, and label products to ensure traceability and inventory control. Assist in product display for sale, keeping the showcase organized and attractive. Collect waste and properly dispose of food leftovers, following hygiene and safety standards. Monitor product expiration dates and storage conditions. Adhere to food safety and occupational safety regulations, using appropriate PPE. Collaborate with the bakery team to contribute to service productivity and quality. Record incidents and report issues or restocking needs. Contribute to the quality, hygiene, and safety of the bakery department. Previous experience as a Bakery Helper, Food Production Operator, Kitchen Assistant, or Pastry Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the duties in this position. High school diploma required.
