Therefore, our job openings are open to all individuals, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or race, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other characteristic that makes you unique. **Your Future Activities and Responsibilities** * Operate trains and scout locomotives in accordance with specific standards, Operating Procedures (OPs), and the Operational Regulation, including on routes and yard/terminal shunting maneuvers; * Maintain communication with control centers and yard supervisors; * Perform a basic checklist of your locomotive (e.g., fluid levels, controls, brake shoes, etc.); * Conduct visual inspections of trains during trips and at level crossings, taking corrective actions or requesting support from relevant departments; * Monitor the permanent way, noting irregularities and alerting departments for corrective action; * Participate in investigations of railway and personnel incidents; * Assemble trains, request operating authorizations, operate communication systems, among others; * Use tools, machines, equipment, microcomputers, terminals, and/or any communication means required to perform your duties.
