Come be part of our team as a **Senior Process Engineer**! **Key Responsibilities:** **Strategy and Continuous Improvement** * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions to ensure achievement of established targets. * Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices, ensuring optimization of production processes and maximization of operational efficiency. * Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through training, workshops, and competency development programs. * Ensure systematic evaluation and execution of continuous improvement initiatives; consolidate project indicators and assess results; identify and support resolution of process bottlenecks; prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on operational excellence projects. * Coordinate routine support to departments for rapid resolution of operational issues; develop projects applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen, TOC, and DMAIC), focusing on cost reduction and process optimization. * Develop new projects and products, optimize mineral processing routes, and conduct production and capacity simulations for medium- and long-term horizons. * Conduct innovation studies, develop new technologies, integrate multidisciplinary teams, and align ROM profile strategies with metallurgical plant capacity. * Standardize process control criteria, develop advanced process control systems, and promote technical upskilling of teams in mineral processing. * Map and resolve critical bottlenecks related to mineral processing. * Develop suppliers, raw materials, and new technologies aimed at continuous improvement and increased operational efficiency. **Project and Quality Management** * + Design and implement crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, leaching, gold adsorption onto activated carbon, detoxification, thickening, and filtration processes. + Develop flow diagrams and mass balances for mineral processing circuits, with emphasis on gold treatment. + Size and specify equipment and facilities according to technical requirements. + Integrate unit operations to maximize recovery and reduce costs. + Support definition of scope, timelines, and resources required for new projects. + Ensure compliance with technical standards, applicable legislation, and quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. **Technical Knowledge and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Metallurgical Engineering with active CREA registration. * Postgraduate degree, MBA, or Master’s degree in Project Management, Mineral Processing, Process Engineering, or Quality Engineering will be considered an advantage. * Operational experience focused on mineral processing. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Six Sigma certification at minimum Green Belt level. * Proficiency in Power BI and process simulation software (Metsim, Usimpac, JK, BRUNO, PLANT DESIGN\- SANDVIK). **Competencies** * Analytical reasoning and attention to detail; * Organization, deadline discipline, and sense of priority; * Proactivity, autonomy, and ownership mindset; * Collaboration and strong relationship-building with partner departments. **Location** Belo Horizonte/MG
