**Responsibilities and Duties**
Oversee the development and maintenance of the quality control management system for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods at the unit, ensuring product quality in accordance with technical requirements and customer needs, contributing to compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, as well as maintaining the 5S program in the industrial area and implementing and sustaining the company’s management system. Applies to factories with Cluster 3 and only one kiln line. Evaluate production processes, conduct studies and tests to identify opportunities for improving operational performance and maximizing equipment efficiency, and develop and execute action plans. Manage the area’s budget and seek alternatives to reduce costs related to quality control, as well as develop proposals and request new investments to enhance controls and improve laboratory execution agility. Ensure compliance and allocate resources necessary to carry out all activities required for testing with traceability and reliability (from sampling through to delivery of results in the company’s official systems, commercial test reports, legal requirements such as INMETRO, chemical reagent licenses, CNEN, etc).
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Production Engineering;
* Active CRQ registration;
* Theoretical and practical knowledge of cement manufacturing processes, including quality; People management skills; Metrology; SIM Portal; PI System; Intelligent control systems (EO, Linkman, Millexcs); Management systems; Failure identification and analysis; Performance indicators/control; Inventory management; Cost/budget management
