Production Assistant - Bakery

Job Summary: A professional responsible for preparing doughs, confections, packaging, and organizing bakery and confectionery products, as well as maintaining workplace hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. Work environment focused on health and safety Job Description: * Prepare dough for cakes, bread, pies, and desserts according to departmental manual instructions, recipes, and production manager and team leader requests; * Pass dough through the roller to achieve required shape and texture; * Prepare bases for cake and bread confections according to departmental manual instructions; * Prepare and deliver requested products (weight, type, etc.) to stores, properly packaged and labeled according to product code; * Deliver products to respective cold storage chambers; * Place daily merchandise orders; * Retrieve products from cold storage chambers for proper preparation; * Label products according to internal codes for sales area and company requirements; * Record daily quantity of non-reusable remaining merchandise; * Verify that products are labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, and composition); * Package products (cakes, pies, sweets, and bread) according to manuals, recipes, and production manager requests; * Organize products in designated carts and boxes; * Deliver carts and boxes to distribution department; * Dispose of non-reusable merchandise in designated waste bins; * Clean workbenches and workplace; * Maintain an organized and clean workplace; * Follow occupational health and safety guidelines and regulations; * Report to team leadership any need for machine maintenance or repair, or for electrical and hydraulic system servicing; * Participate in the company’s mentoring program by training, teaching, and transferring company activities and regulations to new employees; * Record daily attendance in accordance with working hours.
