Job Summary: An engineering and construction management company is seeking a Budget Engineer to prepare budgets, analyze projects, negotiate quotations, and maintain an up-to-date price database. Conduct quotations with suppliers and contractors An engineering and construction management company is seeking a Budget Engineer in Mairiporã. **Responsibilities:** Prepare civil construction and building installation budgets. Perform quantity takeoffs from project drawings, descriptive memoranda, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary discipline projects. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, considering BDI (Burden, Profit, and Indirect Costs), social charges, and labor laws. Conduct quotations with suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery schedules and commercial terms. Balance technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical and commercial proposals. Maintain an up-to-date price database aligned with market practices and values. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some activities of this position. Bachelor’s degree required.
