Identification of alternative technical materials offering better cost-effectiveness **Position: Senior Technical Buyer – Civil Construction** **Remuneration:** R$ 4\.500,00 **Benefits:** VT \+ VR We are seeking a **Senior Technical Buyer** to work in the field of **civil construction**, responsible for ensuring optimal cost, timeline, and quality conditions in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for the company’s construction projects. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct **procurement needs assessment** in coordination with engineers, site supervisors, and the planning department. * Perform **quotations**, compare supplier proposals, and **negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and commercial terms** with suppliers. * Issue **purchase orders** in the system and monitor order fulfillment through delivery at the construction site. * Evaluate and **approve suppliers**, monitoring performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and customer service. * Identify **technical alternatives for materials** (equivalents or substitutes) that maintain quality while delivering improved cost\-effectiveness. * Monitor **supply contracts** and ensure compliance with agreed terms. * Maintain and update **product and supplier databases** in the system. * Collaborate with the construction team to **forecast demand**, preventing material shortages and emergency purchases. * Support the finance department with **procurement information** for payment scheduling. ### **Requirements** * Prior experience as a **Senior Technical Buyer** or in a similar role within **civil construction** (residential, commercial, or industrial projects). * Knowledge of **construction materials, finishes, plumbing, electrical systems, structural steel, concrete**, among others. * Ability to **read and interpret project documentation** (drawings, descriptive specifications, technical specifications). * Experience in **negotiation and cost analysis**. * Proficiency in **Excel** and procurement/ERP management systems. * Organizational skills, process-oriented mindset, strong communication abilities, and an analytical profile. ### **Education** * Preferred educational background in **Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Logistics**, or related fields. ### **Compensation and Benefits Package** * **Salary:** R$ 4\.500,00 (CLT employment regime) * **Transportation Allowance (VT)** * **Meal Voucher (VR)** Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
