The Data for Product team supports tribes and squads within the R\&D area. Our work is to transform data into strategic assets, thereby generating and enabling new revenue streams for Blip products.
We are looking for a Midlevel Analytics Engineer who is curious and dedicated, to actively contribute to the evolution of our products. You will play a fundamental role in modernizing and optimizing our legacy environment, being responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimizing complex data pipelines—with a special focus on refactoring and organizing legacy environments—ensuring data reliability and governance across the Blip platform.
**Responsibilities and Duties**

As a Midlevel Data Analyst, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Maintain, develop, and implement robust data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation—both batch and streaming—with emphasis on legacy system refactoring and optimization.
* Identify and execute refactoring initiatives in legacy data environments to continuously improve architecture, performance, and organization.
* Define and apply data architecture standards—including modeling, partitioning, versioning, security, and governance.
* Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks to ensure continuous evolution of the data stack.
* Ensure data reliability, quality, and traceability through observability best practices, automated testing, and monitoring.
* Serve as the technical point of contact for product and business stakeholders, translating strategic requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
* Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., Data Analysts, Software Engineers) to integrate end-to-end solutions.
**Requirements and Qualifications**

What we expect from you:
* Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and functionalities.
* Familiarity with parallel processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Proficiency with data ingestion, integration, and orchestration tools (e.g., Data Factory, Airflow).
* Experience working in environments handling large volumes of files (e.g., HDFS, Blob Storage).
* Knowledge of relational databases (querying, programming, modeling).
* Programming experience (Python, Spark, and/or Scala).
* Development of REST APIs and Cloud Functions (Azure).
**Nice-to-have qualifications:**
* Azure certification (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
* Databricks certification at intermediate or advanced level (Data Engineer Associate or Professional).
* Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Looker, etc.
* Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
* Prior experience with user event/interaction tracking solutions such as Mixpanel and Segment.
