Description: Below is a summary of the duties: * Correctly label biological sample containers, always affixing labels bearing the Service Order number, patient’s name, tests to be performed, and date and time where applicable. * Collect biological samples from patients in a courteous, professional, and ethical manner, regardless of sex/gender, race/ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. * Provide specific technical instructions to patients regarding sample collection, such as urine for culture, semen analysis, sputum, etc. * Sort biological materials. * Verify laboratory test requisitions. * Assess the condition of biological samples.
