We work with the latest cloud technologies, microservices architectures, and real-time data processing to ensure our platforms are not only competitive but also resilient and prepared for future financial market challenges. **About the job:** ### As **CIB Products Platform Technology Lead**, you will be a hands-on manager responsible for technological development, implementation, and support for the business in Brazil. This role involves leading a local engineering team, collaborating with global technology teams, and acting as a strategic business partner. Your key responsibility will be to ensure all systems and platforms are robust, scalable, and fully compliant with both local and global regulatory standards, while also ensuring seamless execution of business and technology strategies. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between complex business requirements and solid technical execution, ensuring all solutions comply with regulations from the **Bacen** (Central Bank of Brazil) and global **BBVA** security standards. ### Key Responsibilities * **Develop and implement the technological roadmap** for *Global Markets FX & Rates* products in Brazil, ensuring alignment with the bank’s global IT strategy. * **Manage the full software development lifecycle**, covering design, development, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical applications. * **Lead and mentor a local technology team**, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. * **Act as the key liaison** between the bank and external technology vendors to ensure timely and accurate communication of technical requirements, system issues, and regulatory mandates. * **Actively manage vendor performance**, service-level agreements (SLAs), and resolution of critical incidents. * **Ensure all technological solutions** and data flows comply with stringent regulatory requirements (e.g., those of the BACEN and the CVM). * **Serve as a trusted advisor to the business**, providing technical consultancy and strategic insights for commercial initiatives. * **Design and implement automated workflows** for regulatory submissions to Bacen and CNM (e.g., CADOCS, DLO/DLI, IFRS 9, local capital requirements, etc.).
