We make a difference to ensure sustainable development. https://www.youtube.com/embed/P3A4W9FDaj0?showinfo\=0 ### **LABORATORY ASSISTANT** ### **REQUIREMENTS:** * **Completed high school education;** * **Technical course in Plastics, Chemistry, Polymers, or related fields (desirable);** * **Prior experience in a laboratory or industrial production environment—preferably in the plastics sector—is a plus;** * **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;** ### **RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Assist in precise weighing of components and formulation of polymeric blends, following recipes and established procedures.** * **Prepare test specimens and assist in conducting physical tests such as melt flow, hardness, and Izod impact tests.** * **Assist in operating processing equipment—including presses, injection molding machines, and kinetic mixers—for specimen molding or sample preparation, under direct supervision and after specific training.** * **Support the performance of physicochemical tests, including ash content, density, and moisture content tests on raw materials and finished products.** * **Participate in inspection and testing processes for release of Raw Materials (RM), according to defined criteria.** * **Perform or assist in requisitioning materials, supplies, and reagents required for laboratory activities.** * **Produce and apply identification labels on samples, ground materials, granules, and test specimens, ensuring correct traceability.** * **Record test data and results in appropriate forms or systems.** * **Clean and organize laboratory glassware, equipment, and workbenches.** * **Assist in inventory control of laboratory consumables.** ### **WORK SCHEDULE** ### **1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:40 PM, Monday to Friday / 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturdays (with possibility of transition to a 2x2 shift schedule).** ### **BENEFITS** * **Medical Insurance** * **Dental Insurance** * **Pharmacy Benefit** * **Fuel Allowance** * **Meal Voucher** * **On\-site Meal** * **Annual Profit Sharing (PLR)** * **Discount on LAR Plásticos Products
