Focus on environmental licensing and waste management **Job Description** We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to perform environmental monitoring and management of the facility, ensuring legal and operational compliance with a focus on environmental licensing, transportation of hazardous materials, and waste management. This position will be responsible for overseeing regulatory processes, managing environmental documentation, implementing continuous improvement practices, and supporting the company's Environmental Management System (EMS). **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage all aspects of the Environmental Licensing process, including applications, renewals, follow-up actions, tracking of conditions, and interaction with environmental agencies. * Manage and ensure compliance with applicable environmental legal requirements related to company operations. * Monitor and control all documentation related to the transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and procedures. * Track expiration dates, request, and coordinate CADRI issuance and renewal processes. * Manage and track the imTR/MTR (Waste Transportation Manifest), ensuring traceability and compliance with legal requirements. * Update and manage the facility's environmental aspects and impacts spreadsheet. * Implement, maintain, and review the Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring alignment with ISO standards (especially ISO 14001\). * Develop, review, and update the Solid Waste Management Plan (PGRS). * Develop and update environmental area operational procedures and work instructions. * Conduct periodic environmental inspections, technical assessments, site visits, and supplier approvals when applicable. * Conduct technical training, environmental awareness sessions, and internal guidance on legal requirements. * Control and ensure proper delivery and use of PPEs and engineering controls (EPCs) related to the environmental area. * Support activities related to the Integrated Management System (SGI), environmental committee meetings, and CIPA routines. * Serve as the Technical Responsible for the facility's environmental activities, when designated. * Assist the Occupational Safety area in specific routines, such as special service authorizations and occupational risk monitoring. * Identify, record, and track corrective and preventive actions arising from environmental non-conformities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. * Experience with: * Environmental licensing * Transportation of hazardous materials * CADRI * imTR/MTR * Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Prior experience with Environmental Audits is desirable. * Prior knowledge of EMS (ISO 14001\), legal requirements, and PGRS is desirable. * Willingness to work on-site in Guarulhos/SP. **Benefits:** * Meal Allowance (VR) * Food Allowance (VA) * Health Insurance – Unimed * Dental Insurance – Bradesco \#vagas1 Employment Type: Permanent CLT Compensation: Starting at R$6\.243,37 per month Selection Question(s): * Do you have experience with hazardous materials transportation, CADRIs, imTR, and licensing? * Are you available to work on-site in Guarulhos/SP? * Please provide your most recent total compensation package (salary and benefits)?
