Job Summary: Data Science Management seeks to disseminate analytical knowledge and support decision-making with AI, developing and implementing innovative solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Develop and maintain machine learning and time series models. **What does the Data Science area do at Porto?** Data Science Management’s mission is to disseminate analytical knowledge across Porto Seguro and support various company departments in data-driven decision-making. In addition to acting as a consultancy, it also provides Artificial Intelligence innovations and solutions for the entire insurance vertical. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in structuring business problems and linking these problems to technologies, statistical and mathematical modeling; * Plan, develop, and maintain machine learning and time series models; * Perform ETL (extraction, transformation, and validation) processes on data for analysis development; * Assist business teams in interpreting results and provide recommendations for process improvement; * Participate in the validation and implementation of developed models. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences, or related fields; * Python: Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation using Pandas and NumPy, and expertise in building and evaluating models using libraries such as Scikit\-learn, XGBoost, and/or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
