The Legion of Good Will – LBV is hiring a **Kitchen Assistant**:
The **Kitchen Assistant** is responsible for assisting the cook in food preparation, cooking, and finishing dishes, following strict hygiene and food safety standards at the Institution's Unit.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Assist in all necessary food preparations.
* Operate kitchen machinery and utensils, such as blenders, industrial stoves, etc.
* Participate in food pre\-preparation (monitor cooking, adjust seasonings)
* Strictly follow hygiene and food safety standards throughout the entire production process.
* Assist in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning the kitchen.
* Properly dispose of food waste, complying with hygiene and safety standards.
* Perform other food production-related tasks as requested by the cook.
* Use of PPE.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed high school;
**Desired experience:** In kitchens, as a kitchen assistant;
* Basic knowledge of food cutting, cooking, and seasoning.
* Knowledge and practice of good hygiene practices to ensure food safety.
* Ability to work collaboratively and in an organized manner to meet production demands.
**Additional Information**
