




Job Summary: A generalist professional will assist in lens cutting, finishing, and production control, as well as assembly and adjustment of precision instruments. Key Highlights: 1. Assembly, adjustment, and calibration of precision instruments. **Generalist Description:** Perform assistance in lens block cutting and finishing activities according to orders, selecting tools, requesting raw materials, preparing machines, equipment, and materials for movement along the production line. Control cutting and finishing processes, inspecting and classifying raw materials and products, correcting process anomalies, and monitoring achievement of production targets. Cut, grind, polish, and engrave lenses. Assemble, disassemble, adjust, test, and calibrate precision instruments for measurement and control. Record technical information and incidents. **Professional Qualifications:** * Mandatory education requirement: Currently enrolled in elementary school; * Desired education requirement: Completed elementary school; computer literacy; * Assist in product industrialization processes; * Prepare lenses for processing; * Apply lens protection (tape); * Perform lens blocking; * Carry out lens roughing; * Perform necessary calculations for production; * Monitor lenses during finishing (sanding); * Clean lenses; * Store molds in their designated locations; * Forward lenses to the inspection department; * Read frame specifications; * Tint lenses according to customer models, always considering the material being processed; * Apply treatments such as anti-abrasive coating, video filter, and ultraviolet protection; * Remove anti-reflective (AR) coating upon request; * Prepare lenses for the cutting process; * Initiate and complete service entries in the system; * Inspect assembly (lens quality, scratches, defects, improper fitting, excess material) before returning to the service department; * Clean machines daily;
