Come join our team as a **Maintenance Planning Coordinator!** **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure risk assessment for safety and environmental aspects in planned work orders; * Promote development of maintenance plans (predictive and preventive) required to improve fleet availability and reliability indicators; * Ensure planned work orders include identification of resources (man-hours per specialty, contractors, materials, tools, procedures and technical information, plans), permits, and authorizations required for execution; * Ensure scheduling and moderate weekly planning meetings and fleet shutdowns, securing commitments from operations for equipment delivery and from maintenance personnel for task execution; * Monitor adherence to maintenance plans, identifying root causes of deviations and recommending corrective actions; * Establish and update priority criteria for work planning; * Develop the 52-week plan and be responsible for monitoring adherence to it, as well as quarterly, monthly, and annual equipment planning; * Identify improvement opportunities (processes, systems, people) that enhance efficiency in planning and engineering processes; * Coordinate engineers in developing and updating the annual maintenance budget and AFE (Authorization for Expenditure); * Manage reliability engineering efforts in generating and updating effective maintenance plans that improve equipment performance; * Coordinate with reliability engineering to update and develop new work procedures; * Support planning staff development through knowledge transfer and on-the-job mentoring; * Ensure incorporation of condition monitoring recommendations—particularly those related to potential equipment failure symptoms—into weekly maintenance programs and equipment shutdowns; * Lead, together with engineers, analyses using RAF, FMEA, RCA, RCM, and other reliability improvement methodologies; * Perform other duties inherent to the position, as determined by the supervisor. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; * Experience managing people; * Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning within the mining industry; * Technical knowledge of mobile equipment operation and maintenance; * Knowledge of maintenance engineering techniques such as RAF, FMEA, RCM, RCA, etc. **Competencies** * Critical and analytical thinking, focused on effective solutions * Openness to continuous learning and professional development * Growth mindset * Aligned with Jaguar’s values and culture
