Position details: Position: Nursing Technician Salary range: BRL 3,471.97 + 20% hazard pay Meal allowance: BRL 100.00. Working hours: 180 hours per month / 36 hours per week 12x36 shift from 07:00 to 19:00 Main responsibilities:**MAIN ACTIVITIES:** * Provide safe, welcoming, humanized, and individualized nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with established protocols. * Perform laboratory test and ECG collection, as required; monitor vital signs and patients’ general condition, per medical and nursing prescriptions. * Maintain routines for disinfection, sterilization, and storage of reprocessed materials. * Safely transport patients within and outside the hospital; administer vaccines according to demand and need; assist physicians during critical procedures. * Administer and verify medications and treatments for patients, observing timing, dosage, and other parameters to comply with medical prescriptions, following the Nine Rights. * Record nursing notes in the electronic system and document all incidents; complete the sector-specific shift logbook. * Conduct shift handover containing all necessary information to ensure continuity of care. * Early identification of clinical deterioration signs and symptoms, reporting them to the unit’s registered nurse. * Respond to urgent and emergency demands in accordance with pre-established protocols. * Reposition patients according to institutional protocol; perform aseptic peripheral venous access puncture and report inability to puncture to the registered nurse. * Comply with registered nurses’ requests; report patient-related incidents to the registered nurse. * Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during procedures/patient care. * Administer medications strictly according to dose and schedule specified in the medical prescription; for medications intended for collective use, record batch number and expiration date on the label and attach it to the prescription. Requirements for participation in this Selection Process:* Completed and certified Technical Nursing course from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). * **Active registration with COREN** (Regional Nursing Council) and in good standing. * Minimum age of 18 years by the start of registrations. * Minimum of 6 (six) months’ experience in the role is desirable. * Possession of a digital CTPS (Worker’s Registration Record).
