




Job Summary: The Mechanical Maintenance Technician III will perform and support corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical maintenance activities, conducting diagnostics and interventions on industrial equipment. The Maintenance Department’s mission is to ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of equipment and facilities at the unit, directly contributing to operational continuity and production process efficiency. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician III will perform and support corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical maintenance activities, conducting technical diagnostics, interventions on industrial equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement of assets, ensuring compliance with the company’s established safety, quality, and professional maintenance standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Responsible for corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance of machines and equipment at the Operations Center, aiming to guarantee machine and equipment availability as defined by production requirements. * Develop the technical capabilities of Maintenance Technicians I and II through practical and theoretical knowledge. * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance services on machines and equipment using the maintenance management system based on hours/machine worked and work orders. * Carry out improvements, modifications, and refurbishments on machines and equipment as needed to increase manufacturing capacity and extend equipment service life. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations (NR-12, NR-13, NR-35, NR-33, and other applicable NRs). * Perform machining operations on machine tools to fabricate or restore mechanical parts. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed Technical Education, preferably in Mechanical Maintenance, Turning, or Electromechanics. * Relevant work experience. * Experience in the plastics, PVC, or extrusion sector is a plus. **Desirable Requirements** * Experience in mechanical maintenance within **manufacturing industries or continuous-process industries**. * Knowledge of **maintenance of gearboxes, bearings, couplings, pumps, and mechanical power transmission systems**. * Experience with **shaft alignment, assembly and disassembly of mechanical assemblies**. * Knowledge of **reading and interpreting technical drawings and mechanical diagrams**. * Experience in **analysis and diagnosis of mechanical failures in industrial equipment**. * Experience in environments applying **continuous improvement methodologies (WCM, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing)**. * Basic knowledge of **industrial lubrication and preventive maintenance inspections**. * Experience with **recording maintenance activities in maintenance management systems (SAP or similar)**. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule**: 07:30 \- 17:18 **We care about the well-being of our Feras and offer benefits such as:** * Meal allowance; * Year-end bonus; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Wellhub (formerly Gympass); * Birthday day off; * Corporate citizenship: extended maternity and paternity leave. * Discount on our products; * Annual bonus (profit-sharing); * Up to 50% discount on medications; * Health programs.
