Installation and repair of onboard electronic equipment A public passenger transportation company is seeking an Electrician in Petrolina. **Responsibilities:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the electrical systems of fleet vehicles, including long-distance and urban buses. Conduct electrical fault diagnostics using specialized tools, as well as continuity, voltage, and current testing. Carry out repairs on internal and external lighting systems, headlights, taillights, instrument panels, and vehicle signaling systems. Inspect and replace batteries, alternators, starter motors, and wiring harnesses. Install and repair onboard electronic equipment such as GPS units, radio communicators, monitoring cameras, and electronic validators. Ensure proper operation of air conditioning and electric heating systems. Adhere to safety regulations and technical procedures throughout all activities. Document performed services in reports and inform immediate supervisors of any irregularities identified. Assist in organizing and managing electrical department materials and tools.
