Laboratório Cristália is an industrial, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, biotechnology complex and research, development and innovation center 100% Brazilian-owned. It has 10 owned industrial units: 6 in the industrial complex of Itapira, 1 in São Paulo, 1 in Cotia and 2 in Minas Gerais. With local investment close to R$300 million and a facility with approximately 30,000 m² of built area in Montes Claros/MG, the unit continues investing in tablet production, estimating an output of 2.4 billion tablets per year. **Responsibilities and duties** * Support and participate in prospecting companies that purchase and recycle recyclable materials and waste treatment companies (incineration, co-processing, final disposal in landfills, recovery and treatment of liquid effluents); * Monitor the environmental control program, always seeking compliance with legal requirements and continuous improvement. Create control programs to prevent soil, air and water contamination related to the company's industrial processes; * Manage waste transportation according to current legislation; * Control waste generation and storage, always seeking to reduce generation and maximize reuse in recovery/recycling processes in order to reduce waste treatment costs; * Issue technical reports and conduct inspections at the Units; act as an environmental auditor; * Conduct / monitor environmental licensing processes involving the company's Units' environmental agencies according to current legislation; * Conduct / monitor Federal Environmental Licensing (IBAMA - Brazilian Institute of Environment) for the company's Units according to current legislation. **Requirements and qualifications** * Technical degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related fields; * Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM on-site in Montes Claros/MG; * Knowledge of corporate Office tools; * Previous experience with SAP system and ISO 14001 will be a differentiator.
