AVSI Brazil participates in the federal response to the Venezuelan humanitarian emergency under Operation Welcome and, in this context, formalized a Collaboration Agreement with the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) to operate in four (4) reception centers (shelters) for Venezuelan refugees and migrants in the cities of Boa Vista and Pacaraima, in Roraima.\n\n\n**SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:**\n\n\nUnder the supervision of the Community-Based Protection Officer, the Community-Based Protection Assistant shall support the implementation of community-based protection activities, particularly focusing on preventing violence within the shelter community environment, mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.
