Key Responsibilities: * Monitor, administer, and ensure high availability of Linux environments and critical infrastructure services. * Install, configure, harden, and maintain physical and virtual Linux servers, as well as network and security assets (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, backup systems, etc.). * Implement information security controls by applying access policies, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security updates. * Handle security and availability incidents, performing root cause analysis and rapid response to mitigate risks. * Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures with a focus on governance and compliance. * Manage workload provisioning, capacity, and performance in on\-premises and cloud environments, applying security best practices. * Evaluate, test, and recommend technologies focused on system protection, monitoring, and resilience. * Implement and validate backup routines, disaster recovery, and business continuity. * Monitor threats, events, and vulnerabilities, supporting audits and compliance initiatives. Requirements: * Experience in IT infrastructure with strong emphasis on Linux and Information Security. * Advanced knowledge of administering physical and virtual Linux servers. * Experience with hardening, access control, patch management, and incident response. * Hands-on experience configuring and managing services such as DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, network switches, and backup solutions. * Familiarity with monitoring, automation, and security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Bash or similar scripting).
