Drive and transport passengers to various destinations. Operate and maneuver heavy vehicles (buses) on highways, following traffic regulations and established routes. Perform basic vehicle inspections, such as checking tires and equipment, and carry out emergency repairs or request necessary maintenance. Complete reports with data regarding trips, incidents, and expenses, and verify vehicle documentation. In the case of bus drivers, it is necessary to guide and assist passengers, control boarding and alighting, and ensure their comfort. Ensure the safety of all individuals involved in transportation and the preservation of the vehicle. Define and follow routes and schedules, adapting to possible unforeseen events while maintaining compliance with the permitted speed limit. Comply with traffic legislation and regulations issued by transportation agencies and authorities. Must hold a Class D or E driver's license, Passenger Driver Training Course, and proven work experience in the interstate passenger highway transportation sector.
