We are seeking a candidate for the **EHS Manager** position, responsible for leading, implementing, and monitoring practices, policies, and programs across **Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Facility Management**, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and promotion of a robust SERE (Safety, Environment, Real Estate & Energy) culture.**Responsibilities**

* Establish and monitor a continuous, dynamic approach to **Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)**.
* Manage Health & Safety (H&S) issues, leading improvement plans and implementing corporate standards.
* Manage environmental topics at industrial and logistics sites: waste management, emissions, definition and implementation of Best Available Techniques (BAT), and compliance with environmental regulations (ROHS, W3E, etc.).
* Promote and support management in applying the global Health policy, ensuring physical, mental, and social protection and well-being of employees.
* Establish prevention programs to avoid occupational accidents and diseases, as well as their associated costs.
* Provide support to Corporate Health and monitor regulatory changes.
* Ensure legal compliance in Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Facility Management for the plant manager.
* Implement and execute the emergency contingency plan.
* Implement and manage the **Occupational Risk Assessment**.
* Implement and manage the **Environmental Analysis and Energy Review**, including associated risks.
* Define, implement, and track energy reduction actions per Schneider Electric guidelines.
* Ensure implementation and maintenance of fire safety standards.
* Propose goals, action plans, and resources aligned with corporate guidelines, ensuring execution and follow-up.
* Act as liaison with employee councils, health/environment authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Implement SERE methodologies, disseminate best practices, and develop SERE competencies across the organization.
* Manage procurement, cost control, and productivity initiatives related to **PPEs**.
* Ensure accuracy of KPIs and reliability of communications to the plant manager and external stakeholders.
* Define technical specifications and oversee supplier contracts.
* Analyze and optimize **Facility Management** costs, proposing structured goals and plans.
(External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications:
**Requirements**

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering — specialization in **Safety Engineering** or **Environmental Engineering** preferred.
* Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
* Experience with Health, Safety, and Environment culture, preferably in industrial settings.
* Knowledge of applicable standards and legal requirements: **NRs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001**, environmental and sustainability standards, and other HSE requirements.
* Experience in **risk management**.
* **Leadership and influence**: ability to engage, guide, and influence teams and peers.
* Strong **decision-making capability**, with autonomy, technical judgment, and sense of priority.
* Clear and assertive communication, including across hierarchical levels.
* Analytical profile, with ability to interpret data, identify risks, and propose structured actions.
* **Proactivity** and an educator mindset, promoting a prevention culture.
