With corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, Experian is listed on the London Stock Exchange (EXPN) and is a constituent of the FTSE 100. **Job Description** ------------------------ * Develop and maintain REST APIs using **Java** and **Spring Framework (Spring Boot)** * Implement integrations with AWS services such as **S3** and **SQS** * Support the creation and maintenance of containerized applications using **Docker** and **Kubernetes** * Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review, and retrospective) * Write clean, testable code adhering to software engineering best practices * Assist in identifying and resolving bugs and performance issues * Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams * Document APIs and technical solutions **Technical Requirements** * Solid knowledge of **Java** (version 8 or higher) * Academic or practical experience with **Spring Framework / Spring Boot** * Understanding of **REST APIs** and HTTP communication (status codes, verbs, headers) * Basic knowledge of **AWS**, especially: + **S3** (object storage) + **SQS** (messaging) * Concepts of **containerization** (Docker) and **Kubernetes** * Knowledge of **Git** and source code versioning * Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) * Understanding of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) * Basic concepts of **API security** (JWT, OAuth2 – preferred) **AI Knowledge (Preferred / Desirable)** * Familiarity with fundamental concepts of **Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning** * Experience or study in: + Integration with **AI APIs** (e.g., language models, classification, recommendations) + Data processing for AI model usage * Interest in applying AI for automation, analysis, or product enhancement **Education** * Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate degree in: + Computer Science + Software Engineering + Information Systems or related fields **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with **microservices architecture** * Basic knowledge of **observability** (logs, metrics, tracing) * Exposure to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) * AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner – preferred) **Qualifications** ----------------- * Observability * Organization * Growth Mindset * Collaboration **Additional Information** -------------------------- Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
