Job Summary: This position is responsible for the preparation and operation of molding machines, ensuring established quality and productivity standards. Key Highlights: 1. Visual inspection and mold stripping to ensure quality This position is responsible for preparing and operating molding machines, positioning and securing parts and cores on the (automatic) machine in accordance with FTFU (Foundry Technical Sheet) and Work Instructions (WIs), followed by machine programming and initiation of the molding process per FTFU, aiming to meet established quality and productivity standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform OPM (Operator Preventive Maintenance) on molding machines, assessing general machine operating conditions before shift start and at each shift change to ensure the machine is fully operational. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and integrated quality management procedures to safeguard employee physical integrity. * Ensure availability of required materials, tooling, and cores for the molding process as specified in the project folder and system; assess the condition of tooling and cores to proactively request maintenance when necessary, thereby guaranteeing all materials, tooling, and cores are fully serviceable for the molding process. * Prepare and operate molding machines by positioning and securing parts and sand cores on automatic and/or manual machines according to FTFU (Foundry Technical Sheet) and Work Instructions (WIs), followed by machine programming and initiation of the molding process, aiming to meet established quality and productivity standards. * Conduct visual inspection of molds and internal cores, verifying conformity with FTFU prior to forwarding to the next department, indicating whether approved or rejected/discarded. * Perform mold stripping, preparation, cleaning, painting, and closure, evaluating the quality and performance of sand cores and molds. * Perform other related tasks such as mold and test block identification, and record executed activities on production sheets and checklists. * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education. * Basic understanding of technical drawing interpretation is desirable. **Additional Information** Benefits: * On-site company cafeteria at R$ 2.61 per meal * Group Life Insurance * UNIMED Health Plan – (Company covers 100% of the monthly premium for the employee after three months of probation) * On-site medical clinic and occupational physician * Free parking for bicycles, motorcycles, and cars * Pharmacy discount program * Company Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) – paid twice annually * Transportation allowance * Leisure area and kiosk * Altona Library * AACA – Altona Athletic and Cultural Association (facilities reservation, sports gymnasium, soccer fields, and beach volleyball court) * **Work Schedule:** Third shift – Sunday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
