The internship in the Quality Engineering area will enable the intern to develop technical and analytical skills focused on quality management of processes and products, through monitoring production routines, failure analysis, and support in standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. **Responsibilities and duties** **Sample parts production follow-up \-** Track validation parts for action verification, perform photographic records of parts under analysis throughout the manufacturing process as required by Quality Engineering and directed by the supervisor, route parts within the factory according to supervisor's instructions, implement dispositions defined by supervisors; learn to characterize casting defects. **Failure analysis of cast parts:** Conduct data collection and processing of manufacturing processes directly on-site through monitoring or via systems under guidance from the internship supervisor; generate information, process data, and create graphs as requested by the internship supervisor.
