With our 46 industrial units, we offer healthy and nutritious products marketed to customers worldwide through our 23 distribution centers and 17 international offices. **Responsibilities and duties** * Serve as technical leader (tech lead) in data engineering; * Develop technical documentation that complements business scope; * Ability to negotiate deadlines; * Design and oversee scalable data architectures, including creation and maintenance of data pipelines; * Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency by implementing data cleansing and validation procedures (code review); * Optimize ETL process, database, and infrastructure performance to enhance operational efficiency and enable rapid data access; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, guiding requirements definition and delivery of data solutions aligned with business needs; * Design and implement advanced data models, promoting best practices in data governance for effective data management and organization; * Ensure data security and compliance, adhering to regulations and best practices for privacy and protection of sensitive information; * Identify and support resolution of technical and operational challenges related to data pipelines, optimizing processes and data availability; * Research and implement new technologies and approaches to improve efficiency and quality across the data ecosystem. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development (ADS), or related fields; * English — Advanced level; * Solid experience with SQL; * Solid experience developing ETLs and data pipelines for data collection and processing (Pentaho, Airflow, Synapse, Databricks); * Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud; * Solid experience with data processing using Databricks; * Desired certifications: AZ-900 and DP-203/DP-700; * Familiarity with Apache Hop and DBT is desirable; * Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases; * Solid experience with Spark; * Solid experience with Python; * Experience with Big Data; * Data modeling capability (dimensional or normalization); * Clean Code practices and technical documentation; * Experience identifying and resolving issues related to data integrity, quality, and performance; * Knowledge/experience in automation/transformation projects focused on data. **Additional information** As the leading beef exporter in South America, Minerva Foods connects people, food, and technology with excellence.
