If this resonates with you, read on for more details about this opportunity. **Your mission as an Importer:** Provide operational support to the operations team across all stages of import and logistics processes, ensuring organization, agility, deadline control, and timely updates of information in internal systems and spreadsheets. Act as a support resource for data collection, document organization, deadline and process tracking, and preparation of information for validation. **Responsibilities** * Gather necessary data for quotation requests: weight, volumes, cubic capacity, dimensions, addresses, etc. * Complete standardized quotation request templates and forms. * Receive carrier proposals and consolidate documents. * Monitor response deadlines and alert the analyst of delays. * Perform preliminary documentation checks, verifying presence of essential information: quantity, weight, description, volumes, etc. * Organize all documents, adhering to the area-defined workflow. * Immediately inform immediate supervisors of simple discrepancies or missing documents. * Monitor critical deadlines. * Enter data into standardized fields in control systems. * Update process information (dates, references, values) based on received documents. * Verify consistency of data submitted by suppliers prior to final review. * Organize approved quotations and prepare comparative analyses for evaluation. * Identify discrepancies between quotations and freight invoices. * Complete logistics cost control spreadsheets. * Forward cases requiring decision-making or negotiation to the analyst. * Support tracking of transit\-time and notify the analyst of estimated arrival times. * Support monitoring of free\-time to avoid costs. * Update forecasts in the system and alert the team regarding operational risks. * Create preventive alerts based on deadlines. **Additional Responsibilities** * Maintain organization and up-to-date records of logistics process information and documents. * Support various operational activities as needed. * Assist in low-complexity supplier communications. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal controls and operational workflows within the department. **What we expect from you:** * Communicate effectively; * Possess analytical ability; * Be disciplined; * Be discreet; * Be proactive; * Pay attention to detail and be organized; * Commit to deadlines and quality standards; * Be proficient in computer use and related tools. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Ongoing or completed degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related fields. * Intermediate or advanced English; * Intermediate Excel skills; * ERP CONEXOS knowledge; * Knowledge of Incoterms, SISCOMEX, and customs regulations; **What will your work schedule be like?** On-site in Itajaí, at our office, Monday through Friday during business hours. **Now you might be wondering: Why join IMPORTE MELHOR?** We are a company with over 12 years of existence and experience, growing rapidly every day in every aspect.
