Actively participate in pedagogical planning and events. **Details** We are looking for a committed, patient, and caring **Child Development Assistant** experienced in working with infants and young children. The professional will collaborate with educators to support children's holistic development while ensuring a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment. **Responsibilities** * Support teachers. * Facilitate rich childhood experiences from sensory, motor, cognitive, affective, and social perspectives. * Assist children with meals according to their age and needs, accompany them during meals, and foster their autonomy. * Support age-appropriate sleep routines. * Assist during meals: breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. Distribute pedagogical materials. * Accompany children to the bathroom and support their hygiene habits. * Assist with children's arrival and departure alongside the Coordinator or Director. * Participate in children's adaptation process, supporting their needs together with the teacher. * Organize, sanitize, guide, and supervise appropriate use of space, materials, and toys. * Ensure children's safety and remain attentive to their needs. * Collaborate with the teacher and Coordinator on general planning: * Attend pedagogical meetings, training sessions, planning activities, school unit events, and related experiences. * Participate in and remain integrated within all experiences developed by the teacher and classroom team, both inside and outside the classroom. * Become familiar with, understand, and implement the Early Childhood Education proposal. **Work Environment** In Early Childhood Education Centers (CEIs), the pedagogical project—developed jointly with the Carlos Chagas Foundation and the Girassol Institute for Early Childhood Education and Research—is based on the pedagogy of “Caring for / Educating Young Children,” meaning providing spaces, time, and materials that allow children to play, sleep, move, express thoughts and feelings, and develop autonomy.
