Description
Drive tractors in predetermined areas, operating in accordance with required techniques, which may include hauling, sugarcane planting, and fertigation.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Conduct machine inspection prior to commencing work; in case of irregularities, contact automotive maintenance and inform the immediate supervisor of any irregularities observed in the agricultural machinery;
* Operate heavy-duty wheeled agricultural tractors (for hauling and transshipment) to transport sugarcane;
* Operate agricultural tractors in planting and fertigation sectors;
* Operate towed agricultural machinery equipped with transshipment implements to load sugarcane in synchronization with the harvester, performing transshipment at a safe and designated location as determined by the immediate supervisor, in compliance with internal operational technical standards;
* Periodically clean and organize the machinery during the work shift, aiming to extend vehicle service life and ensure proper readiness for the next work shift;
* Perform basic maintenance and interventions on machinery and equipment, and/or assist mechanics with other maintenance tasks as per the OperMan Program.
**Requirements and qualifications**
Completed elementary education;
Tractor operation courses;
Driver's license category D or higher.
