Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring that temples and buildings are safe, comfortable, and functional through the execution of painting services. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for preparing surfaces and painting materials. 2. Applying paint using rollers, brushes, or spray guns. 3. Previous experience in this role and an up-to-date NR35 certification are required. **Description:** Our Maintenance team’s objective within the institution is to provide all members and visitors with access to safe, comfortable, and functional temples and buildings. Responsibilities Inspect the work to be performed, verifying measurements, positioning, and the condition of surfaces to be painted, and determine appropriate procedures and materials to be used. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, brushing, and removing old paint or damaged areas using scrapers, sandpaper, solvents, and air jets to eliminate residues, as well as retouching flaws and seams to correct defects and improve paint adhesion. Prepare painting materials by mixing paints, pigments, oil, diluents, and drying agents in appropriate proportions to achieve the specified color and quality. Paint surfaces by applying one or multiple coats of paint using rollers, brushes, or spray guns. Perform other duties relevant to this position. Requirements High school or elementary education. Previous experience in this role is required. Professional training or certification in this field is desirable. An up-to-date NR35 certification is required. Willingness to travel within the state.
