**Responsibilities and duties**
* Lead the team by guiding and training them according to standard operating procedures;
* Participate in developing new procedures by analyzing area incidents and aligning procedures with managers from other sourcing areas;
* Manage the expense budget by monitoring variances and creating action plans to correct distortions and/or anomalies;
* Act as the "guardian" of safety and accident prevention practices within your team, ensuring all members comply with regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE);
* Monitor departmental staffing requirements to ensure workforce levels match monthly needs (e.g., vacations, leaves of absence, resignations, etc.);
* Be the "owner" of the logistics process at the Distribution Center (DC), enforcing standards and procedures, managing DC productivity, and proposing and implementing purpose-driven actions to guarantee timely product dispatches and excellence in customer service;
* Propose and implement changes aimed at improving operational and DC management processes.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Logistics or related fields;
* Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency;
* Prior experience in people management, policies, and processes;
* Solid experience in logistics operations.
