**Description:** We are seeking a Cost Engineer to work on the planning, control, and analysis of construction and project costs, ensuring budgetary accuracy and strategic support for decision-making. The professional will be responsible for developing estimates, monitoring financial execution, and optimizing resources, thereby ensuring economic viability and achievement of established goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Develop detailed construction budgets, including cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and services. Register and update inputs, service compositions, and budgets in Sienge;
· Manage MO (MOP and Contractors) resources by organizing and maintaining rigorous allocation controls (appropriation of inputs and services in the budgetary WBS);
· Build and update comprehensive construction schedules (physical schedule, histogram, and weight curve);
· Coordinate construction planning and replanning, ensuring predictability and control during execution;
· Strictly monitor and enforce the physical\-financial schedule developed jointly with construction managers, providing periodic progress, cost, and performance indicator reports;
· Monitor physical progress of construction projects, tracking deadlines, deliverables, and team and workfront performance;
· Identify deviations from the plan, conduct critical analyses, and propose replanning and improvements to execution sequences;
· Lead critical executive planning activities, such as closing meetings with contractors and defining phase-based packages;
· Ensure integration among engineering, procurement, finance, and execution departments to align construction strategy;
· Implement process improvements in construction planning and control, promoting standardization, efficiency, and innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
· Proven Experience: Solid experience in construction planning and control. \-Prior experience with physical\-financial scheduling, performance analysis, and managerial reporting. Knowledge of construction cash flow management and project budgeting;
· Cost Management Software: Proficiency in Sienge and Prevision platforms;
· Strong communication skills, strategic vision, and critical analytical ability;
