Human resource management within the department and communication with suppliers. **Description** We are seeking a **PPCM Technician** to plan, schedule, and control maintenance activities, ensuring equipment efficiency, adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, and reduction of production downtime. This professional will be responsible for integrating maintenance, production, and supplier departments, guaranteeing quality, productivity, and safety in the industrial environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** Plan, guide, and assign maintenance activities according to established guidelines, goals, and programs; Perform planning for preventive and predictive maintenance calendars and plans for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and refrigeration equipment, verifying latest inspections, maintenance team’s service availability, and production’s machine release feasibility, while recording all data in the system following defined procedures—ensuring minimum disruption to production processes, yet fully complying with preventive maintenance requirements; Oversee implementation, execution, and monitoring of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; Manage human resources within the department—including training, performance evaluation, and discipline of team members—administer absences, vacations, and other procedures inherent to team structuring, maintenance, and motivation, analyzing decisions jointly with the immediate supervisor; Maintain contact with involved departments to negotiate preventive maintenance dates; Control routine maintenance checklists—whether performed or requested by production—and archive documents per established directives; Register new machinery and equipment data into the system, inserting, modifying, and standardizing procedures for preventive maintenance of identical parts and devices; Create and print identification labels for machines and equipment, requesting their physical installation; Transcribe information from the computerized system into spreadsheets or text editors, generating and issuing reports and controls as needed or upon request; Maintain contact with suppliers to seek solutions for defects and explore new machinery technologies aimed at improving factory area quality and productivity, through internal meetings or specific technical visits; Contact third-party service providers when necessary to assist with electrical, mechanical, or similar maintenance tasks, minimizing machine downtime to restore production; Oversee development, execution, and monitoring of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; Be accountable for service results and statistics, analyzing reports on unproductive hours and overtime to quantify and validate cost-benefit ratios; Maintain and update industrial maintenance records, develop and analyze performance indicators for tracking results; Comply with occupational health and safety standards and procedures, properly using PPE and executing training and instruction operations, safeguarding one’s own safety and that of others; Perform additional tasks as required and at the discretion of the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed technical education in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or related fields. Prior experience as a PPCM technician in an industrial setting; Familiarity with ERP systems; Protheus is preferred.
