Mid-Level PHP Developer (Mobile Apps + AI) — Remote/Hybrid

Job Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level PHP Developer to develop and enhance web solutions, participate in mobile app and AI-related projects, and ensure quality through testing and best practices. Quality assurance through testing, code review, and best practices We are looking for a Mid-Level PHP Developer to work on the development and evolution of web solutions and integrations, including participation in projects involving mobile applications and AI-based features (e.g., integrations, automations, recommendations, chatbots, etc.). Responsibilities Develop and maintain PHP applications (APIs and back\-end). Create/consume REST APIs and integrate third-party services. Collaborate with the team to develop features impacting mobile apps (e.g., endpoints, authentication, notifications, performance). Implement and integrate AI features (e.g., using models via API, data/text analysis, automations). Ensure quality through testing, code review, documentation, and best practices. Work with version control (Git) and support architectural/performance improvements. Required Qualifications Solid experience as a Mid-Level PHP Developer. Experience with REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and service integration. Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL) and data modeling. Familiarity with Git and code review workflows. Understanding of mobile app integration requirements (back\-end needs for mobile). Applicable AI knowledge (e.g., integration with model APIs, embeddings, chatbots, simple pipelines, automations). Employment Type: Freelance / PJ Contract Duration: 12 months Compensation: R$4\.000,00 \- R$5\.000,00 per month Work Location: Remote/hybrid, based in Palhoça, SC
