Job Summary: Responsible for planning shipments, verifying orders, loading cargo, procuring vehicles, managing risks, scheduling deliveries, tracking returns, and inspecting the fleet. Key Highlights: 1. Shipping and delivery planning and coordination 2. Strategic cargo management and vehicle procurement 3. Risk monitoring and fleet tracking **Shipment Scheduling:** Develop weekly departure schedules. **Order Verification:** Analyze and validate pending orders for immediate route inclusion. **Cargo Loading:** Perform volume calculation and strategic route planning for cargo. **Vehicle Procurement:** Obtain freight quotations and contract carriers/vehicles. **Risk Management:** Coordinate with the assistant to submit loaded vehicle data for activation of monitoring/insurance. **Delivery Scheduling:** Define delivery dates and relay them to the assistant for formalization with customers. **Return Tracking:** Monitor merchandise returns and determine correct disposition (redelivery or warehouse storage). **Maintenance Checklist:** Inspect fleet technical requirements and validate workshop quotations. **Expense Reports:** Consolidate and present all fleet operational expenses to management.
